The Free Gift of Grace

You Are Not Here by Accident

Jesus loves you and He wants you to have a personal relationship with him. There is just one thing that separates you from God; that one thing is sin. People tend to divide themselves into groups: good people and bad people. But God says that every person that has ever lived is a sinner, and any sin separates us from God. That includes you and me.

If you died today, are you 100% sure that heaven would be your home? If not, you CAN KNOW by reading following points.

Neither you or me are good enough to go to Heaven on our merit. Since we have disobeyed God's holy standards we are stained with sin. And a holy and righteous God cannot look upon sin, nor allow sin to dwell in His presence.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Since neither of us have fully obeyed God's righteous standards, we cannot dwell in His presence. Just as there are wages (payment) for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal separation from God in a literal place called Hell.

"For the wages of sin is death…" (Romans 6:23a)

Though we are on our way to eternal separation from God for eternity, Jesus loves you and I so much that he came to take your punishment, and mine, upon the cross 2,000 years ago.

"But God commendeth His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

The price has been paid for your sins and mine however we must receive the free gift of eternal life by faith in Jesus' sacrifice upon the cross. This does not come through works or good deeds, but a simple faith that Jesus Christ redeemed us on the cross and by his resurrection we can trust we too will rise and live in Heaven.

"...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)

The below is a prayer you may pray to receive this free gift of eternal life, realizing that it's not the words that save, but your genuine faith in the words you say

"Dear Jesus, I know I'm a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. Please come into my heart and save my soul from Hell. I'm trusting you, and you alone, to take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me Jesus. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, and sincerely in your heart meant the words you just prayed, you can be certain that Heaven will truly be your eternal destination when you die.
